RT REVEREND: Martin Timothy Lubega

FOUNDING PASTOR & GENERAL OVERSEERS

PASTOR MARTIN LUBEGA TIMOTHY

A Servant of God, a Preacher of the Gospel, and a Builder of God's Kingdom

Called to preach. Committed to discipleship. Dedicated to keeping the fire of God burning in the hearts of His people.

A Journey of Calling, Faith, and Kingdom Service

Martin Lubega Timothy responded to the call of God to preach the Gospel and began ministering as an evangelist in various churches throughout Uganda. From the early stages of his ministry, he embraced the responsibility of sharing the Word of God, proclaiming the message of salvation, and encouraging people to establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

In 2009, his ministry journey brought him to Kitemu, where he accepted the responsibility of leading a small, struggling congregation. What appeared to be a modest beginning became an important chapter in his calling and service to God's Kingdom.

Shortly after his arrival, people began responding to the Gospel, experiencing salvation, and joining the church. As the ministry continued, a remarkable season of conversion and congregational growth unfolded through the work of God and in connection with the ministry and fellowship of different servants of God.

Through these developments, Pastor Martin witnessed the importance of faithful preaching, prayer, evangelism, pastoral care, and the consistent teaching of God's Word. He continued to labour in the ministry, trusting God to establish the congregation and strengthen the work entrusted to him.

Ministry Marked by Evangelism, Prayer, and the Power of God

Throughout his ministry, Pastor Martin has testified to God's work through miracles, signs, and wonders, which he believes God has used to draw people toward His Kingdom and strengthen the proclamation of the Gospel.

He continues to serve with a conviction that the ministry of Jesus Christ must remain centred on the Gospel, grounded in Scripture, dependent upon the Holy Spirit, and directed toward the salvation and spiritual growth of people.

His desire is to remain faithful to the spiritual calling he received, continuing to preach Christ, minister to God's people, encourage believers, and participate in the work of the Kingdom with humility and perseverance.

For Pastor Martin, ministry is not merely a position or title; it is a sacred responsibility to serve God, care for His people, teach His Word, and faithfully carry the message of salvation to those who need to hear it.

A Vision for Preaching, Pastoral Ministry, and Discipleship

The vision that continues to burn in Pastor Martin's heart encompasses preaching, pastoral ministry, discipleship, evangelism, and the establishment of churches.

He longs to see believers grow beyond simply hearing the Gospel into becoming mature disciples of Jesus Christ—people who understand the Scriptures, live according to the truth, serve faithfully, and help others discover the saving grace of God.

His vision also includes establishing new congregations where the Word of God can be preached faithfully, believers can be nurtured in their faith, ministers can be raised and equipped, and communities can be reached through the transforming message of Jesus Christ.

At the heart of this vision is his enduring desire to keep the fire of God burning in the hearts of believers. He seeks to encourage a living faith that is sustained through prayer, biblical teaching, holiness, evangelism, discipleship, and devoted service to the Lord.

This vision reflects the spiritual emphasis of THEIOS DIVINUS ALTAR CHURCH: keeping the fire of the salvation Gospel of Jesus Christ burning upon the spiritual altars of people's hearts while reaching the world with the original doctrine of Jesus Christ and His apostles.

Academic Ministry and Service at UCCSAT University

In addition to his pastoral and evangelistic responsibilities, Martin Lubega Timothy serves in theological education and academic leadership at UCCSAT University.

He is a Lecturer of Biblical Theology at UCCSAT University, contributing to the teaching and development of biblical understanding and theological knowledge. Through this academic responsibility, he participates in the preparation and equipping of those who seek to grow in their understanding of Scripture and their service in Christian ministry.

He also serves as the Special President's Personal Secretary at UCCSAT University, undertaking a responsibility that connects his service with the university's presidential office.

These roles reflect his involvement in both practical ministry and theological education, bringing together pastoral experience, biblical instruction, and institutional service.

Ecclesiastical Affiliation and Chaplaincy

Martin Lubega Timothy is a member of the Five Fold Episcopal World Federation (FFEWF). Through this affiliation, he participates in a wider ecclesiastical fellowship committed to Christian ministry and service.

He also serves as the Chaplain of the Five Fold Episcopal World Federation Patriarch Uganda, a responsibility through which he contributes pastoral and spiritual support within the federation's Ugandan context.

These responsibilities form part of his wider commitment to serving God's people, supporting Christian leadership, and contributing to the spiritual life of the church beyond his local congregation.

Leadership in Charitable and Community Service

Pastor Martin also serves as the Chairman of Theios Divinus Altar Church Charity Foundation (TDACCF).

Through this charitable leadership responsibility, he is involved in advancing the foundation's service to people and communities in need. This work reflects the conviction that the Christian faith should be expressed not only through preaching and worship but also through compassion, generosity, practical assistance, and concern for the well-being of others.

His charitable vision complements the wider mission of the church: to proclaim the Gospel, strengthen communities, encourage hope, and demonstrate the love of Christ through meaningful service.

Trusting God for the Resources to Fulfil the Vision

Pastor Martin continues to believe God for greater financial stability and the resources necessary to advance the ministry entrusted to him.

He recognizes that the fulfilment of the vision requires faithful stewardship, prayer, committed workers, appropriate facilities, ministry equipment, training, and the support needed to extend the work of evangelism, discipleship, and church establishment.

His desire is to see the ministry become increasingly equipped to fulfil its calling, reach more people with the Gospel, strengthen existing congregations, establish new churches, and prepare faithful ministers for service.

He remains hopeful for God's provision while continuing to labour in the responsibilities already placed before him. His vision is not simply to build an institution but to contribute faithfully to the work of God's Kingdom and the fulfilment of the Great Commission.

A Humble Servant with an Eternal Perspective

Above all, Pastor Martin Lubega Timothy desires to remain a humble servant of God's Kingdom. Despite the responsibilities associated with pastoral leadership, theological education, ecclesiastical service, and charitable work, his deepest aspiration is to remain faithful to the Lord who called him.

His heart is directed toward the eternal reward promised to those who faithfully serve Christ. He seeks to conduct his ministry with humility, perseverance, spiritual integrity, and a willingness to continue learning and growing in the grace and knowledge of God.

His journey from evangelistic ministry in Uganda to pastoral leadership in Kitemu, together with his academic, ecclesiastical, and charitable responsibilities, represents an ongoing commitment to the work of the Gospel.

The journey continues. The calling remains. The vision is still burning.

His prayer is that God will continue to strengthen him, provide the resources necessary for the work, raise faithful labourers, transform lives through the Gospel, and enable him to fulfil the divine assignment entrusted to him—all for the glory of Jesus Christ.

THE FIRE MUST BE KEPT BURNING ON THE ALTAR

“A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13

This Scripture expresses the enduring spiritual emphasis of Pastor Martin's ministry and the vision of THEIOS DIVINUS ALTAR CHURCH.

To keep the fire burning is to remain faithful to the Gospel, committed to the Word of God, devoted to prayer, passionate about winning souls, intentional in making disciples, and prepared to serve wherever God opens a door.

May the Lord continue to guide, strengthen, equip, and provide for this work, so that the message of salvation through Jesus Christ may reach more hearts, disciples may be established in the truth, and God's Kingdom may be served faithfully in Uganda and beyond.
